This is the… third? fourth? book by Saramago I read, and can’t wait to deep-dive into its style.
As I said, I love Saramago’s prose. The story itself offers an interesting point of view on the life of the most famous celebrity. Beautiful in some parts, especially the dialogues with God and the Devil, boring others. Not bad, quite good.
